Updating and upgrading Syncplify Server!

Every update and upgrade requires an active maintenance and support plan on the license. Start with the general rules, which name the scenario that applies to you and point at the detailed procedure:

• Upgrading from v6 or v7 to v8 on Windows and on Linux, for a standalone server.
• Upgrading a v6 or v7 HA cluster to v8.
• Upgrading from v6 or v7 to v8 when everything else fails.
• Upgrading from v4 or v5 to v8, and recovering data from v4 and v5 encrypted VFSs.
