Why Internet Explorer is not supported


Most software productsproducts, including those developed by SyncplifySyncplify, areutilize configured via webweb-based user interfaces (UIs)., Thesedesigned areto graphicalbe interfacessecure, thatmodern, runand insidecompatible ofwith mostcontemporary browsers.

All browsers Chrome/Chromium-based onbrowsers, Chrome/Chromium as well as those Firefox-based onbrowsers, Firefoxand other modern browsers are fully supported,supported. However, Internet Explorer (IE) is categorically not supported and mostmust othernever independentbe browserused engineunder workany well, too. The only browser we officially do not support is Internet Explorer.circumstances.

Even Microsoft (who- makesthe creator of Internet Explorer)Explorer has given up on trying to support it, and- has officially announcedabandoned thatit, removing support from their Office suite as of August 20212021, theirand owncompletely office suite will notterminating support Internetfor Explorer anymore. Furthermore,IE as of June 20222022, Microsoftshifting isexclusively planningto onthe droppingnewer, safer Edge browser.

For Syncplify to continuing supporting Internet Explorer, in any environment, would be not only reckless but also dangerous. That's why as of Syncplify Server! v6, and for all current and future versions, incoming requests from Internet Explorer forwill goodbe proactively forbidden.

If you value your security, privacy, and moveoverall exclusivelysoftware tocompatibility, theirimmediately newerdiscontinue browserany engineuse (Edge).

In our opinion, this goes to show that our choice not to supportof Internet Explorer in our products was correct. So, please, do not use Internet Explorer in conjunction with any Syncplify software products, and -transition ifto youa atsecure, allmodern care about your safety and broad software compatibility - we recommend you do not use Internet Explorer at all.
